PE Technician & Swimming Coach (Learning Assistant)

About the role

Dubai British School Jumeirah Park is looking for a motivated PE Technician and Swimming Coach to join its vibrant learning community from August 2026. This dual‑role position supports the Physical Education department while delivering high‑quality swimming instruction to students of all abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of PE lessons and activities.
• Maintain, organise and repair PE equipment and ensure the sports facilities are safe and functional.
• Provide swimming instruction and coaching, developing lesson plans that cater to varying skill levels.
• Promote a positive, inclusive environment both in the classroom and the pool.
• Support safeguarding policies and undergo required background checks.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications or experience in physical education and aquatic coaching.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage equipment and resources.
• Passion for encouraging student participation in sport and swimming.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

Required skills

• Equipment maintenance and basic repair.
• Swimming coaching techniques and safety procedures.
