People and Development Manager

About the role

As People and Development Manager at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, you will design and deliver learning experiences that support the growth of our teams and the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. You will partner closely with People & Culture and hotel leaders to ensure development initiatives are relevant, engaging, and aligned with business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the hotel’s learning & development plan, creating and facilitating engaging training across service, behavioural and leadership topics.
• Partner with leaders to identify talent, support succession planning, and provide coaching to strengthen people‑leadership capabilities.
• Maintain mandatory learning records, monitor compliance, and ensure high completion rates.
• Stay present on the hotel floor to understand operational needs and translate them into practical development solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in people development, learning & development or talent development, preferably in luxury or lifestyle hospitality.
• Confident facilitation style with the ability to connect with staff at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to turn ideas into actionable programmes.
• Collaborative, people‑first mindset and genuine passion for helping others grow.
