People & Culture Coordinator

About the role

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island, a luxury resort on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, is looking for a full-time People & Culture Coordinator. The role supports the People & Culture function with employee administration, onboarding and offboarding, engagement activities and record keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Answer employee questions, refer sensitive matters to the People & Culture reporting line, and keep the candidate database updated
• Prepare invoices and P&C documents, create and update employee files, and keep them safe and confidential
• Update employee information in P&C systems, prepare letters and job offers, and coordinate contracts with the Government Relations Officer
• Support onboarding and offboarding, and follow up on probation, contract and certificate expiry dates, reporting them in a monthly report
• Follow up on attendance issues and help with internal communications such as announcements and notices
• Organise employee engagement activities, surveys, recognitions and celebrations, and suggest improvements
• Maintain locker records, notice boards, casual labour files and employee cafeteria feedback
• Perform other tasks assigned by the People & Culture Manager

Required profile

• Previous administration or People & Culture experience required
• University/college degree in a related discipline is an asset
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Confidentiality, responsibility, trustworthiness and reliability
• Team player with empathy, able to stay calm and courteous, and open to helping outside normal working hours

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows applications
• Knowledge of Oasys is a plus
