People & Culture Intern

About the role

The People & Culture Intern supports the People & Culture UAE team in mobilising the core Human Capital Strategy across functions and brands. The work covers people lifecycle activities such as onboarding coordination, people data management, documentation and policy administration, and contributes to engagement and people initiatives in line with Americanas standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of People Journey policies and frameworks (Growth pillar) and prepare policy documentation, templates and playbooks aligned with AMR policy architecture
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather inputs, validate content and maintain a central repository of policies
• Track policy progress, approvals and version control, and help improve People Journey processes
• Support engagement survey action planning, create a You Said We Said communication loop, and analyse engagement data into dashboards and reports
• Track action plans, follow-ups and impact metrics, and document best practices and success stories
• Research human capital best practices, AI applications and digital transformation trends, and recommend tools and automation opportunities
• Prepare trackers, reports and executive summaries for leadership reviews, and ensure data accuracy and compliance

Required profile

• Undergraduate or recent graduate in Psychology or Human Resources
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Good communication and documentation skills, and ability to manage several tasks and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Attention to detail, collaboration, learning agility and accountability
