People & Development Executive

About the role

The People & Development Executive drives HR and employee development initiatives, ensuring seamless recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and employee relations. Working closely with managers and staff, the role supports a positive workplace culture aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, manage onboarding plans and maintain accurate onboarding records.
• Identify training needs, organize internal and external programs, track participation and evaluate effectiveness.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, act as a point of contact for HR queries and promote an inclusive culture.
• Manage the performance appraisal cycle, assist with goal setting and monitor development actions.
• Maintain confidential employee records, HR databases, prepare reports, contracts and monitor attendance and leave.
• Assist HR projects, prepare metrics for management and handle internal communications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Development or People Operations.
• Proven ability to design, coordinate and implement training and development programs.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, performance management and employee engagement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with UAE Labour Law and HR compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in HR data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
