Performance Test Engineer (Mid‑Level to Senior)

About the role

We are looking for a technically strong and detail‑oriented Performance Test Engineer to design, execute and analyse performance tests for our applications and platforms. The role focuses on ensuring reliability, scalability and quality through structured testing, automation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability and capacity tests.
• Develop test plans, strategies, cases, scenarios and automated scripts.
• Monitor application, server, database, network and infrastructure performance during testing.
• Identify bottlenecks, conduct root‑cause analysis and work with development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and maintain test environments.
• Prepare detailed performance reports, dashboards and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in performance testing, software testing or QA engineering.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA processes and defect‑management.
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6 or BlazeMeter.
• Good knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, web applications and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows environments and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
