Personal Service Technician – Electric Mobility

About the role

The Personal Service Technician (PST) will deliver an exceptional ownership experience for Polestar customers across the UAE. You will manage the full workshop journey, from service booking to vehicle hand‑over, using advanced diagnostic tools and adhering to Polestar and Al‑Futtaim standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, periodic maintenance and accessory fitment following Polestar repair manuals and OEM procedures.
• Manage the end‑to‑end customer service journey, including appointment booking, vehicle reception, technical consultations, repair updates, invoicing and hand‑over.
• Diagnose and resolve vehicle concerns using high‑voltage EV diagnostic tools and OEM equipment.
• Create and process warranty documentation, Electronic Warranty Approval Requests and warranty claims.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment and diagnostic systems, ensuring they are calibrated and up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• IMI Light Vehicle Master Technician (Level 3‑4) or equivalent qualification.
• Advanced OEM certification such as Diagnostic Master or Gold Technician.
• 6‑7 years of experience as a Light Vehicle Technician and at least 2 years as a Diagnostic Technician in a dealership environment.
• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles and high‑voltage systems is highly preferred.
• Valid driving licence and practical vehicle handling experience.

Required skills

• Advanced diagnostic and fault‑finding capabilities.
• Proficiency with high‑voltage EV diagnostic tools and OEM diagnostic equipment.
• Strong knowledge of EV systems, high‑voltage components and modern automotive technology.
• Experience with warranty processing and dealer management systems such as SAP.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, repair manuals and technical documentation.
