Pharmacist Assistant / Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

This role supports the safe, compliant and efficient storage, handling and distribution of pharmaceutical products in the warehouse. It acts as Pharmacist in Charge for the assigned storage area and helps the warehouse team maintain Good Storage and Distribution Practice (GSDP) compliance, inventory accuracy and product quality throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain storage conditions, including temperature-controlled areas, and review temperature records, reporting excursions or deviations promptly.
• Ensure proper segregation and identification of released, quarantined, returned, damaged, rejected and expired stock.
• Support daily warehouse operations such as receiving, put-away, picking, dispatching, returns processing and inventory control, coordinating with company operations and the client.
• Maintain warehouse records, GSDP documentation, operational logs and reports; assist with stock reconciliation, cycle counting, batch and expiry-date checks and discrepancy investigations.
• Ensure staff follow approved SOPs, keep training records and coordinate CAPA, maintenance requests and temperature alarms.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports, support audits and inspections, and liaise with Quality, Transportation, Customer Service and other DSV departments.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management or a related field.
• Valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license.
• 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical warehousing or healthcare logistics.

Required skills

• Stock control, batch management and expiry-date monitoring.
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
