Pharmacy Technician

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Pharmacy Technician position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, processing prescriptions, preparing and dispensing medications, and ensuring accurate labeling and packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Process and verify prescriptions, prepare and dispense medications, and ensure correct labeling and packaging.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, monitor stock levels and expiry dates, and organize storage to meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist patients and clinical staff at the pharmacy counter, providing clear medication usage information and courteous service.
• Update patient records, handle documentation, and comply with hospital policies and regional pharmacy regulations.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technology or a related field and eligibility to work in Dubai.
• Experience as a pharmacy technician in a clinical or hospital setting, with strong prescription‑handling and inventory‑control skills.
• Knowledge of medication dispensing procedures, safe handling practices, and pharmacy operations.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow standard operating procedures, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
• Basic computer literacy for pharmacy information systems and electronic medical records; proficiency in English.
