Pharmacy Technician – Support Pharmacists in Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Pharmacy Technician will work alongside pharmacists to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient medication dispensing in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will contribute to high‑quality patient care while maintaining compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing medications.
• Receive, verify, and process prescriptions according to established procedures.
• Maintain precise records of prescriptions, dispensing activities, and inventory movements.
• Manage medication inventory, including receiving, stocking, monitoring expiration dates, and coordinating orders with approved suppliers.
• Provide courteous service to patients, healthcare professionals, and visitors, answering routine inquiries and escalating clinical questions to pharmacists.
• Support insurance claim processing and billing activities as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
