Physical Education Teacher (Female) - Muna British Academy

About the role

Aldar Education is recruiting a female Physical Education teacher for Muna British Academy in Abu Dhabi, starting in January 2027. The school moved to a new campus in the Saadiyat Lagoons community in August 2025 and now welcomes students from FS1 to Year 8, with plans to extend to Year 13. The role sits within the PE department and involves supporting the day-to-day running of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day running of the PE department, including administration tasks, displays and supporting lessons
• Maintain and monitor PE equipment and storage, and help create lesson resources
• Prepare resources and equipment for lessons under the direction of the class teacher
• Perform basic administration duties for the PE department and maintain the PE booking sheet
• Communicate with external agencies about fixtures and sports events, and liaise with PE leadership to match support to need
• Contribute to the school's squad provision and other duties decided by the PE leadership

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in the related subject with a PGCE or other teacher qualification
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience
• Previous experience working with students for whom Arabic is not their first language
• Clean enhanced DBS check or police clearance
• Passion for sport and willingness to contribute to squad provision
