About the role

Jebel Ali School in Dubai is seeking an experienced Physical Education Teacher to lead the Primary PE department starting August 2026. The role combines classroom teaching with departmental leadership, ensuring a high‑quality, innovative PE programme for primary students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging physical education lessons for primary year groups.
• Lead and develop the Primary PE team, setting curriculum standards and fostering professional growth.
• Promote the school’s safeguarding policies and ensure all activities comply with child protection requirements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate PE within the broader British curriculum.
• Organise extracurricular sports events and competitions.

Required profile

• Qualified Physical Education teacher with relevant teaching certification.
• Proven experience in primary education and leadership of a PE department.
• Commitment to child safeguarding and willingness to undergo background checks.
• Strong understanding of the British curriculum and ability to adapt lessons to diverse learners.
