Physical Security Officer

About the role

The Physical Security Officer will ensure that all employees, contractors and visitors obtain the required airport passes promptly and in compliance with regulations, supporting the operational and business objectives of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist applicants in completing pass applications and gathering supporting documentation.
• Verify that all documentation complies with current requirements and policy.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of pass application processes and update internal procedures accordingly.
• Liaise with police, airport pass offices, authorities and applicants, tracking applications and communicating progress.
• Manage databases, files and trackers to ensure data integrity and audit compliance.
• Handle telephone enquiries professionally and redirect calls as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data processing and administration.
• Knowledge of online/manual government pass application processes.
• Familiarity with airport security requirements and physical access control.
• Effective communication, attention to detail and customer‑focused attitude.
