Physics Teacher (Immediate Start)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Physics Teacher to join Aldar Education in Abu Dhabi for the Academic Year 2026/2027, with an immediate start. The role involves delivering the English National Curriculum, supporting diverse learners and contributing to the school’s high‑achievement culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies, schemes of work and long‑term plans aligned with the school’s vision.
• Analyse student data to identify under‑achievers and create targeted support plans, including for SEN, G&T and EAL learners.
• Evaluate teaching and learning quality, set standards for staff, and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage departmental resources, budgets and staff performance in line with school policies.
• Contribute to the school’s CAS programme and organise after‑school revision sessions for I/GCSE and IB DP courses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics (or related) with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum six years of teaching experience, preferably with the UK curriculum.
• Proven track record of raising standards and implementing effective learning strategies.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to the values of the region and to safeguarding children.
