Physics Teacher – Relocation to UAE

About the role

The school seeks a qualified Physics Teacher to join its faculty and relocate to the United Arab Emirates. You will deliver the SABIS® curriculum, support student achievement, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach physics classes using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assess student performance according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and academic concerns with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain an effective classroom environment.
• Proctor exams, ensuring proper test conditions.
• Provide guidance and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation and revision schedules.
• Support additional school duties such as substituting, organizing lunches and transport, and handling administrative tasks.
• Participate in student life activities and events in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience.
• Demonstrated accountability, professional behavior, and ethical conduct.
• Commitment to continuous learning and teamwork.
