About the role

GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail is seeking an outstanding Physics Teacher to join its high‑performing, cognitively‑driven school community. The successful candidate will start in August 2026 or January 2027 and will deliver the British GCSE and A‑Level physics curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess physics lessons for GCSE and A‑Level students.
• Apply evidence‑informed teaching practices and contribute to the school’s cognitive‑science network.
• Collaborate with a high‑performing teaching team to maintain exceptional academic results.
• Participate in professional development programmes such as StepLab coaching and Best Practice Network.

Required profile

• Qualified with a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Physics teaching.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
• Strong subject knowledge and experience with the British curriculum.
