Physiotherapist

About the role

Fakeeh Health, a healthcare group founded by the founders of Fakeeh Care Group in Saudi Arabia, is hiring a physiotherapist in Dubai. The role provides medical services to people injured or affected by illness so they can recover or improve their function, and evaluates each patient to design a customised physical rehabilitation and treatment plan aimed at restoring maximum movement and functional ability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy for patients with injuries, muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases, to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability.
• Review the physician's referral, the patient's condition and medical records to determine the required treatment.
• Test and measure strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity and respiratory and circulatory efficiency, and record findings to develop or revise treatment programmes.
• Prepare a written treatment programme and administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advances in physical therapy and use evidence-based treatment protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, including the required clinical internship for professional registration.
• A current license to practice physical therapy.
