Physiotherapist

About the role

A client of Black Pearl Consult, one of the UAE's largest government-affiliated healthcare networks, is looking for a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The role covers assessment, planning and delivery of therapeutic treatments so patients can restore physical function, improve mobility and enhance their quality of life. Experience with pediatric patients is highly preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical abilities and conditions through clinical evaluations and diagnostic tests.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy and use of physiotherapy equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation exercises, injury prevention and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
• Maintain accurate patient records, progress notes and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety and quality standards, and stay up to date on physiotherapy advances.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
• Valid UAE physiotherapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience; pediatric exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and rehabilitation practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient-care skills, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting.
