Physiotherapist - Paediatric Long-Term Care

About the role

Amana Healthcare, a long-term care and rehabilitation provider in the Middle East and GCC and part of the M42 network, is hiring a physiotherapist for its paediatric long-term care services. The role covers evaluating referred patients, organizing and running individualized therapeutic programmes, and monitoring progress and response to treatment, in line with M42 and DOH/DHA policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive paediatric assessments, establish diagnoses and develop individualized, family-centred physiotherapy treatment plans.
• Educate children, caregivers and the interdisciplinary team on therapy goals, treatment plans and safe participation in rehabilitation.
• Monitor progress with standardized paediatric outcome measures, adjust interventions and carry out ongoing risk assessment.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance submissions and equipment coordination.
• Support quality assurance, clinical programme development and service improvement in paediatric long-term care.
• Provide guidance to colleagues, maintain CME requirements and promote compassionate, person-centred care.

Required profile

• Qualified physiotherapist with a BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy, plus specialty certifications such as Dry Needling, Spinal Manipulation, Bobath or Mulligan Concept.
• 6+ years of physiotherapy experience, including 4+ years in a defined specialty (ICU, Neuro, Orthopaedics, MSK, Sports Rehab) within a CARF/JCI-accredited setting.
• Licensed and certified per DOH/DHA requirements, with BLS and specialty certifications such as ACLS or PALS.
