Pipeline Operations Engineer – Integrity Team

About the role

The Pipeline Operations Engineer will join the Integrity Team to develop cost‑effective engineering solutions and manage plant changes across the pipeline network. The role provides technical expertise throughout project phases, from design and procurement to commissioning and hand‑over, ensuring safe and reliable delivery of pipeline facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve design documents, drawings, specifications and technical data for pipeline projects in line with project plans and safety standards.
• Develop in‑house engineered works, including detailed drawings, data sheets and bills of quantities to support plant change management.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary engineering activities, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and international pipeline codes.
• Plan and supervise pigging operations, prepare monthly schedules and liaise with corrosion specialists for chemical injection programs.
• Manage engineering documentation, establish preliminary route alignments and maintain the pipeline document management and control system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum six years of experience in pipeline engineering within a large oil‑and‑gas organization, with full knowledge of HSE practices.
• Proven ability to work with international pipeline, corrosion and cathodic protection standards and codes.
