Piping Engineer – Multiple Roles (Layout, Stress, Designer, Modeler)

About the role

PES Group is seeking experienced piping professionals to join its engineering team for a range of Oil & Gas EPC projects. Positions include Piping Layout Engineer, Piping Stress Engineer, Piping Designer and Piping Modeler, each contributing to the efficient delivery of mechanical engineering packages on offshore and onshore facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed piping layouts, stress analyses and design packages in accordance with project specifications.
• Produce and review 3D models, resolve multidisciplinary interface issues and extract accurate 2D drawings.
• Prepare technical reports such as stress reports, critical line lists and loading verification documents.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, company standards and safety/environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support offshore fixed‑facility and Qatar Gas projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–12 years of experience in piping engineering within Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Proven experience on offshore fixed facilities; experience with Qatar Gas projects is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex technical interfaces.

Required skills

• SmartPlant 3D (S3D) modeling and drawing extraction.
• AutoCAD and SmartSketch for 2D design work.
• Caesar software for stress analysis.
• Operation of 3D review models and multidisciplinary issue resolution.
