Piping Inspector – Oil & Gas

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Piping Inspector to lead third‑party inspection activities for onshore and offshore oil & gas and petrochemical projects. You will be responsible for verifying welding, process piping, mechanical equipment, hydro‑testing and advanced NDT methods.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and verify welding, process piping, and mechanical equipment installations on offshore and onshore projects.
• Conduct hydro‑testing and advanced non‑destructive testing, assess NDT procedures, and approve related documentation.
• Review and approve multidisciplinary ITPs, procedures, site queries, NCRs and concession requests.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Welding or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas/petrochemical inspection, both onshore and offshore.
• Proven experience liaising with EPC contractors and preparing technical reports in English.

Required skills

• CSWIP 3.1 or AWS‑CWI certification; PCN Level II or ASNT Level 2 desirable.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards: ASME, AWS, API, DNV, ISO, BS.
• Computer literate with ability to generate QA/QC documentation and technical reports.
