Planning Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring and controls for our construction and contracting operations in Dubai. The role involves managing multiple building projects and coordinating with project managers and technical teams to ensure timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage master project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, revised programmes, recovery plans and look‑ahead schedules.
• Monitor project milestones, critical paths and potential delays.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Commercial, Procurement and Technical teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management.
• Support Extension of Time (EOT) claims with proper planning documentation and delay analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10–12 years of construction planning experience, including at least 6 years in UAE/Dubai main contracting companies.
• Proven experience managing planning teams and multiple high‑rise, residential, commercial or mixed‑use projects.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, delay analysis, EOT claims and recovery scheduling.
