Planning Manager - EV Brands (BYD, Polestar, Denza, Yangwang)

About the role

Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility is looking for an experienced Planning Manager to support the planned growth of its EV brands (BYD, Polestar, Denza, Yangwang) in the UAE. The role sits in the Planning and Supply team and works with sales, marketing, product, logistics and OEM partners to align demand forecasts, monthly orders and model, grade and colour mix plans with sales objectives, and to prepare Sales Stock Order Plan (SSOP) recommendations for senior management approval.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and propose order plans and trim ratio plans to set production volumes by model, channel, grade and colour, aligned with sales objectives
• Analyze data to negotiate optimally with OEMs for the supply of models
• Review supply requirements with channels and management to achieve the desired Month of Stock (MOS) ratio
• Prepare grade mix plans for each model and incorporate them into monthly orders to maximize revenue
• Forecast trends from past data on colour, grade and channels to keep supply optimal across the range
• Rationalize the lineup by reducing the number of materials, aiming to increase efficiency and lower maintenance costs
• Prepare a comprehensive SSOP presentation and present order recommendations to senior management for sign-off on monthly production volumes
• Hold regular meetings with other departments in the AFEMC group and align sales forecasting, targets, campaigns, product changes and logistics with the order plan

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with demonstrated experience in planning and numbers
• 5 years' experience in automotive brands
• Experience with EV brands, especially Chinese desirable brands
• Knowledge of supply chain and ability to drive commercial results with measurable KPIs
