Planning Manager

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead the planning function across all phases of real‑estate development projects, from initiation through design, procurement, construction and handover. You will set key milestones, monitor progress, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with the overall development strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document master development plans covering initiation, design, procurement, NOCs, construction and handover.
• Consolidate and issue executive, departmental and trend reports on schedule performance.
• Track programmes against approved milestones, issue proactive alerts and recommend mitigation actions.
• Analyse project progress, conduct impact assessments and review vendor claims and extension‑of‑time requests.
• Maintain change logs and manage scope, schedule and resource allocation changes.
• Review and standardise reporting, scheduling management and project‑control processes.
• Assess consultants’ and contractors’ baseline programmes for risks, excessive float and unrealistic relationships.
• Oversee multiple project packages, develop packaging strategies and support project‑management review meetings.
• Provide guidance, training and support to project teams on best planning and scheduling practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10‑15 years of experience in planning, scheduling and project controls within real‑estate or construction environments.
• Proven ability to work with senior leadership and drive mitigation actions.
