Plumber – Hotel Maintenance (Dubai Marina)

About the role

The Plumber will join the hotel engineering team in Dubai Marina, responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive maintenance across the property. This full‑time position supports both guest rooms and back‑of‑house areas, ensuring all plumbing and related systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines; carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Report daily activities and problems to subsequent shifts using approved communication standards.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and thorough cleanup of work areas.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing fixtures (e.g., unclog drains, plunge toilets) and basic electrical components (lamps, switches, outlets).
• Program televisions, perform general housekeeping and engineering inventory duties, and use Lockout/Tagout procedures before work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting; hotel engineering experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
