Plumber – Hotel Maintenance (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Plumber to join the engineering team at Westin Hotels & Resorts in Dubai Marina. The role involves responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive maintenance across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests, troubleshoot and fix plumbing, electrical and mechanical issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, air‑handling units and mechanical room assets, including cleaning, lubrication and inspections.
• Carry out surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and ensure thorough clean‑up after work.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and communicate daily activities to subsequent shifts.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, preferably in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work on stairs, ladders and service ramps.

Required skills

• Plumbing – unclogging drains, fixing toilets and related fixtures.
• Electrical – basic wiring, lamp replacement, switches and outlets.
• Air‑conditioning and refrigeration – basic servicing and filter changes.
• Mechanical and pneumatic systems – basic troubleshooting and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Carpentry and painting – surface preparation, minor drywall and trim repair.
• Landscaping sprinkler maintenance.
