Plumber (Hotel Maintenance)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled plumber to join the engineering team at a luxury hotel in Dubai. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all plumbing and related systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room systems, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and shut‑off valves, and carry necessary equipment such as radios and tools.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts, and communicate daily activities to other shifts.
• Conduct surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs, and clean work areas thoroughly.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and hotel guestroom items, following lockout/tagout procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, including interior and exterior surface preparation and painting.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform tasks on stairs, ladders, and service ramps.
