Plumber

About the role

The Engineering Cluster is seeking an experienced plumber to support preventive, corrective and installation activities across its facilities. You will work on both indoor and outdoor systems, ensuring reliable water supply, drainage and sanitation for a variety of building types.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on pipelines, valves, pumps, water tanks and drainage systems.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, replace damaged fittings, clear blocked drains and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Install new plumbing pipelines, sanitary fixtures and modify existing systems to meet operational needs.
• Monitor domestic water supply networks, sewage and storm‑water drainage, and support pump and storage tank operations.
• Follow HSE policies, use appropriate PPE and maintain housekeeping standards on site.
• Update maintenance records, log materials used and report recurring defects.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate, Trade Certificate or equivalent plumbing qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities management, preferably in residential towers, commercial buildings, hospitals or hotels.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and teamwork abilities, with a commitment to safety and quality.

Required skills

• Knowledge of domestic water supply, drainage, sewage and sanitary systems.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with pumps, valves, water heaters and sanitary fixtures.
• Experience with PPR, CPVC, UPVC, HDPE, copper and GI piping.
• Proficiency in leak detection, pipe fitting and plumbing repairs.
