Plumbing Draftsman – Landscape & Pool Projects

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Plumbing Draftsman to create accurate plumbing and pool piping drawings for landscape and swimming‑pool projects in Dubai. You will work closely with design and site teams to translate concepts into detailed technical documents that meet project specifications, local authority regulations, and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare plumbing layout, shop, and as‑built drawings using AutoCAD (2D/3D) for landscape and pool piping networks.
• Develop pipe sizing, routing, and hydraulic calculations for pool circulation, filtration, water features, and landscape plumbing.
• Coordinate with Landscape Architects, Pool Consultants, MEP teams, and Site Engineers to ensure design alignment.
• Review tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs to produce precise working drawings.
• Prepare equipment schedules for pumps, filters, valves, heaters, and water‑feature components.
• Incorporate authority requirements (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, DDA, Civil Defence) into designs.
• Track drawing revisions, maintain version control, and support site teams with clarifications.
• Ensure designs are water‑efficient, safety‑compliant, and suited to UAE climate and pool standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Plumbing Draftsman on landscape and swimming‑pool projects.
• Mandatory UAE experience in similar projects.
• Background in a contracting or consultancy firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with pool hydraulic design software.
