Plumbing Foreman

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a plumbing foreman for a well-known civil and MEP contracting company in the UAE, which is working on ongoing building and infrastructure projects. The foreman leads the plumbing team on site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise chargehands and technicians in water supply, drainage and sanitary piping, fixtures and pump connections
• Allocate daily work and manpower as instructed by the site engineer or supervisor
• Read and follow approved shop drawings and specifications
• Ensure correct installation, workmanship quality and readiness for inspection
• Track material usage and raise requirements in advance
• Report daily progress and site issues to the site engineer
• Make sure the team follows safety rules, PPE and HSE procedures

Required profile

• ITI or diploma in plumbing (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in plumbing works in building construction, including as foreman; GCC experience preferred
• Valid passport with at least 2 years' validity
• Basic English or Hindi communication
• Ready to join immediately

Required skills

• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Good team handling skills
