PMC Project Manager

About the role

KBR Engineering Inc is expanding its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for a high‑profile offshore development for ADNOC in Abu Dhabi. The PMC Project Manager will lead the client‑side management of a major offshore project, ensuring the EPC/EPCI contractor delivers to ADNOC’s technical, safety, quality, schedule and budget requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to the PMC and multidisciplinary teams and act as the primary interface with ADNOC Offshore, EPC/EPCI contractors, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Oversee all phases of project execution – engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, offshore installation, hook‑up, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, start‑up and handover.
• Monitor contractor performance against schedules, budgets and KPIs, and drive corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain client relationships, deliver regular progress, cost and risk reports, and resolve major technical, contractual and commercial issues.
• Lead HSE and quality compliance, ensuring safety culture and adherence to ADNOC quality standards throughout the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Extensive senior‑level experience in oil & gas offshore projects, including EPC/EPCI contractor supervision and client‑side PMC.
• Proven track record managing large multidisciplinary teams and complex project controls, cost, schedule and risk.
• Strong contractual and commercial awareness with experience handling variations, claims and change management.
