PMO Trainee (UAE National)

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for ambitious UAE nationals to join its Management Trainee programme as a PMO Trainee. The role provides a structured rotation across key business functions and hands‑on experience in project‑office activities, preparing you for future leadership positions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a rotation across departments such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and HR.
• Support the PMO Manager in day‑to‑day portfolio governance, monitoring KPIs like revenue, OBL, OTD and risk.
• Prepare reports, presentations and proposals for senior management.
• Consolidate and analyse portfolio data to identify high‑risk or delayed projects.
• Assist in improving PMO processes and digital tools, including AI use‑case identification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or a related field with a strong academic record.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving and leadership potential through academic or extracurricular activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic and diverse environment.
• Proactive attitude, strong initiative and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Flexibility to relocate or travel as required by the rotation schedule.
