Podiatrist – Podiatry Services

About the role

The Podiatrist will deliver safe, evidence‑based podiatry care within a hospital setting, supporting surgical procedures, prescribing orthotics, and providing therapeutic treatments for patients of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive podiatry services, including minor surgery assistance and diabetic wound management.
• Conduct biomechanical assessments and fabricate custom orthotic devices.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, report shortages, and coordinate replenishments.
• Assist with departmental budgeting, administrative tasks, and daily operation documentation.
• Compile daily statistics on consultations and hours worked, forwarding reports to the Rehabilitation Department Head.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality control, and medical record documentation policies.

Required profile

• BSc or 3‑year Certificate in Podiatry from an accredited program.
• Current national podiatry license.
• Preferred: MSc in a relevant clinical field (reduces required experience).
