Pool and Beach Attendant

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Pool & Beach Attendant to join the Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort team in Ras Al‑Khaimah, UAE. You will be the friendly face of the resort, ensuring guests enjoy a safe, clean and welcoming environment at our pool and beach areas.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously on arrival and departure, creating a warm atmosphere.
• Set up and maintain beach beds, cabanas, sunbeds, umbrellas and towel stations according to standards.
• Keep pool and beach areas clean, organized and well‑maintained throughout the day.
• Provide clean towels and amenities, manage inventory and restock supplies efficiently.
• Fold and pack umbrellas and equipment each evening for proper storage.
• Monitor safety standards, report any hazards or suspicious occurrences immediately.
• Follow all company policies, grooming standards and attend mandatory meetings and training.
• Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational hospitality training.
• 1‑3 years experience as a Pool & Beach Attendant or similar role in a 4‑5 star hotel/resort.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality service standards and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical fitness and stamina for extended outdoor work.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and shift schedules.
• Attention to detail, safety‑focused and team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Basic swimming knowledge or water‑safety certification (preferred).
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Multilingual abilities (preferred).
