Pool and Beach Attendant

About the role

Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort, a luxury resort in the United Arab Emirates located near Dibba in the emirate of Fujairah, is hiring a full-time Pool and Beach Attendant. The role centres on welcoming guests, keeping the pool area safe and clean, and serving them drinks and information.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service.
• Monitor the pool area for safety, hazards and compliance with health and safety and hygiene standards, and report accidents or incidents to management.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations courteously.
• Set up and maintain poolside furniture such as chairs, towels, umbrellas and tables.
• Keep the pool area clean by picking up trash, wiping surfaces and disposing of waste properly.
• Take guest orders, give drink recommendations and deliver drinks promptly.
• Assist guests with pool-related questions and provide towels or seating adjustments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Team player willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
