Bartender - Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort

About the role

Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort, part of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, is looking for a full-time Bartender in Dibba Al-Fujairah. The resort sits on the coast of Dibba, the second-largest town in the emirate of Fujairah, and is described as a beach resort set among the Al Hajar Mountains.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, setting up the bar area and tables according to standards.
• Deliver food and beverage service in line with departmental and LQA service standards.
• Greet guests warmly, take orders and serve food and drinks promptly at the correct temperature.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods and potential allergens.
• Upsell food and beverage offers and cross-sell other dining venues to maximise sales.
• Handle guest complaints tactfully and report issues to management promptly.
• Keep a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, following HACCP food safety standards.
• Supervise assigned work stations and help oversee outlet operations when management is absent.
• Collaborate with other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times and attend briefings, meetings and training on hotel services, fire safety and emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hotel.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights and public holidays.
