Portfolio Analyst – AI Model Training Expert

About the role

Ethos is seeking experienced portfolio analysts to help train a cutting‑edge language model on professional finance documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. This fully remote, flexible engagement pays $100 per hour and requires 5–20 hours per week, with the possibility to increase workload.

Key responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks covering discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation models.
• Develop comparable company trading analyses and leveraged buyout (LBO) models.
• Produce credit risk memos, covenant compliance summaries, and investment committee memoranda.
• Ensure high‑quality output across all core workflows and maintain rigorous attention to detail.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in equity research, credit analysis, or valuation advisory with direct ownership of DCF, trading comps, and LBO models.
• Deep fluency in credit risk assessment, covenant analysis, and investment committee memo writing for institutional stakeholders.
• Expert‑level craftsmanship in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks, with excellent written communication.
