About the role

The Department of Electrical and Power Engineering at United Arab Emirates University seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow to advance research on intelligent hybrid solar‑hydrogen energy systems. You will work on AI‑enhanced photovoltaic, thermoelectric and hydrogen technologies aimed at resilient, carbon‑free energy futures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize models for hybrid renewable‑energy and hydrogen systems.
• Design and implement intelligent control and AI‑based forecasting algorithms.
• Conduct experimental validation and system integration in the laboratory.
• Publish high‑impact journal articles and present findings at conferences.
• Support and supervise graduate student research activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with a strong research background in renewable energy, hydrogen, or intelligent energy management.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent and collaborative research.
• Capability to contribute to experimental development and system integration.
