Power BI Lead – Business Intelligence & Analytics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Lead to design, develop and govern enterprise‑grade Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and the Azure data ecosystem. The role blends hands‑on technical leadership with data modelling, visualisation, and close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable BI solutions, semantic models and reusable datasets with Power BI, Fabric and Azure services.
• Define and enforce standards for dimensional modelling, DAX, Power Query (M), report design, optimisation and documentation.
• Develop interactive dashboards, scorecards and reports aligned with KPIs and strategic objectives.
• Implement governance, workspace management, CI/CD pipelines, version control, Row‑Level and Object‑Level Security.
• Integrate reporting with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, SQL Server and APIs in partnership with data engineering teams.
• Mentor BI developers and analysts through solution and code reviews.
• Partner with business stakeholders and senior leadership to translate requirements into actionable analytics.

Required profile

• 7‑8 years of BI or data analytics experience, including 4‑5+ years of hands‑on Power BI.
• Proven ability to govern enterprise BI environments and lead development teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable with senior and CXO‑level audiences.
