PR and Media Relations Specialist

About the role

ADNOC Distribution is looking for a PR and Media Relations Specialist in Abu Dhabi. The role leads and coordinates external PR and media content so that messaging is clear, impactful and aligned with the company's strategy, develops strategic external communications planning, and acts as the focal point for media communications with business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic communication plans covering the brand story, product offerings, corporate announcements and key initiatives across media channels
• Research and write press releases, social media articles, talking points, Op-eds and feature articles
• Oversee the creation and design of PR content, text, visuals, videos and infographics, ensuring compliance with ADNOC and ADNOC Group guidelines
• Standardize content across platforms and support the manager in finalizing advertisements, brochures, booklets and campaign materials
• Analyze PR and media campaign performance, monitor competitor media activity and implement tracking models for press coverage and reputational risk
• Maintain centralized non-technical archives of corporate materials
• Coordinate with senior management and agencies on messaging, media placements and publications, and run content audits

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing communication, Marketing or Advertising from a recognized university
• 8 years of experience in digital and social media marketing and advertising
• Experience in Oil and Gas or retail is preferable
