PR Intern – Lifestyle Dining & Media Relations

About the role

We are seeking a creative and well‑connected PR Intern to join the Lifestyle Dining team at Sunset Hospitality Group. The role supports PR and communications for our premium dining and lifestyle brands, focusing on media relations, influencer outreach, events, and brand storytelling across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with media and influencer outreach, invitations, guest lists and relationship management.
• Research journalists, publications, influencers and key opinion leaders in the UAE lifestyle, food, fashion and hospitality sectors.
• Support restaurant openings, launches, events, tastings and PR activations.
• Help prepare press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, brand materials and press kits.
• Coordinate media and influencer visits and follow up on coverage.
• Monitor media coverage, brand mentions and competitor PR activity.
• Maintain updated media, influencer and contact databases.
• Contribute to PR reports, coverage tracking and monthly media monitoring.
• Conduct research on trends, news opportunities and potential partnerships.
• Collaborate with marketing, restaurant and agency teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Required profile

• Degree or current studies in PR, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Hospitality or a related field.
• Strong interest in hospitality, luxury lifestyle, fashion and media.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Confident and personable when communicating with media, influencers and external partners.
• Proactive, curious and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
