Pre Sales Engineer - Network & Security

About the role

Telephony is seeking a Network & Security Pre‑Sales Engineer to partner with the Enterprise Regional Sales Manager, channel partners, integrators and end‑users in Dubai. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, articulating solution value and supporting the sales process with technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities, assess technical significance and understand customer SWOT.
• Articulate the value and fit of solutions within the customer environment, emphasizing solution selling.
• Prepare clear and coherent RFP/RFI responses that highlight solution capabilities.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of technical sales support in a pre‑sales engineering role.
• Minimum five years of experience implementing and operating WAN/LAN networks with Cisco hardware.
• CCIE certification.
• At least two years of experience with Data Center network implementation and operation.

Required skills

• Hands‑on functional knowledge of Check Point Firewall‑1, Provider‑1 and VSX.
• Experience with Cisco FWSM, PIX, CSM, ASA, routers and switches.
• Proficiency with Juniper Firewall and NSM.
• Understanding of IP addressing, subnetting and supernetting.
• Strong written communication for RFP/RFI preparation.
• High sense of urgency and customer‑centric attitude.
