Precast Structural Engineer – Precast Factory

About the role

We are looking for a Structural Engineer with hands‑on experience in precast concrete to support design, detailing, and site coordination across our development portfolio. Working under the Senior Structural Engineer – Precast, you will prepare calculations, review shop drawings, and collaborate with design, production, and construction teams to deliver safe, buildable, and code‑compliant precast solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare structural calculations and analysis for precast elements such as panels, hollow‑core, double‑tee, columns, beams, staircases, and connections.
• Assist in designing precast connections (welded, dowelled, corbel, grouted sleeve, bolted, post‑tensioned) and perform lifting/handling checks.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Structure, MEP, BIM, and the precast plant to resolve design and interface queries.
• Check precast shop, reinforcement/embed, and erection drawings, flagging discrepancies for senior sign‑off.
• Support QA/QC during production and address technical queries during site erection.
• Apply relevant codes (ACI 318, PCI Design Handbook, Eurocode 2, BS standards) and Dubai/UAE authority requirements.
• Maintain design change logs, RFIs, and technical query trackers.

Required profile

• Experience with high‑rise, hospitality, mixed‑use, or residential projects using precast systems is preferred.
• Working knowledge of ETABS, SAFE, or STAAD.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Understanding of precast production, transportation, and erection sequencing is an advantage.
