Key responsibilities
- Manage and negotiate ocean import freight rates with shipping lines and agents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines and overseas partners.
- Source competitive rates and ensure commercially viable pricing.
- Monitor market trends, freight fluctuations, and carrier pricing.
- Prepare and manage import quotations and pricing proposals.
- Coordinate with internal sales and operations teams to support business requirements.
