Pricing Specialist - Sales Support

About the role

Transguard Group, a business support and outsourcing provider active in cash services, security, manpower, facilities management and aviation, is recruiting a Pricing Specialist for its Business Development team in Dubai. The specialist controls, modifies and improves all cost models used for bids, quotes and renewals, ensuring accurate cost inputs and outputs for internal and external needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximise profitability, and conduct cost analysis of manpower resources including salaries, benefits, equipment and overheads.
• Forecast revenue projections based on pricing strategy, market demand and sales forecasts.
• Work with Procurement, Finance, Property, Transport and HR to update internal and external costs in pricing templates, and produce financial summaries with Bid Managers, Business Units and Opportunity Owners.
• Provide governance on client pricing so all cost components are captured and approvals follow company policy, and generate pricing performance reports for management.
• Analyse customer pricing requests, support sales in negotiations, manage customer-specific pricing agreements, contracts and discounts, and suggest price optimisation.
• Maintain the latest pricing templates, review them with FP&A against budgets, and keep a pricing history database for benchmarking.
• Propose and automate improvements to cost models and pricing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or mathematics.
• 5+ years in a pricing or finance role, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills and solid understanding of financial principles, including financial modelling, cost analysis, profit margin optimisation and revenue forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to work with cross-functional teams such as sales, finance and operations.

Required skills

• Advanced or expert MS Excel; VBA is a plus.
• Attention to detail in pricing analysis, proposals and documentation.
