Primary Teacher (English National Curriculum) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join its Abu Dhabi campus for the 2026/2027 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver the English National Curriculum, support diverse learners and contribute to a collaborative school community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies aligned with the school’s vision and high‑achievement standards.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate schemes of work for all year groups, ensuring coverage for SEN/POD, G&T and EAL students.
• Use data to identify under‑achieving pupils and create targeted intervention plans.
• Monitor teaching quality, provide feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the school’s CAS programme and organise after‑school revision sessions.
• Manage departmental resources, budgets and staff performance in line with school policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum three years of experience teaching the UK curriculum.
• Proven ability to raise standards and close learning gaps.
• Strong leadership experience at various levels and a collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to the school’s core values and an appreciation of regional culture.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
• Data analysis for student progress monitoring.
• Experience designing inclusive schemes of work for SEN, G&T and EAL learners.
