Primary Teacher – International School in Sharjah

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join our internationally accredited school in Sharjah. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality instruction using the IB or AP curriculum, fostering academic, personal and social growth for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) or Advanced Placement (AP) standards.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators to develop interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in school events, parent‑teacher meetings, and professional development sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and classroom activities.

Required profile

• Native English speaker from an English‑speaking country.
• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area (or Education for Kindergarten/Primary) and a teaching license or postgraduate qualification.
• Minimum two years of post‑graduate teaching experience in the subject applied for.
• Ability to provide professional references.
• Teaching license preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in delivering IB PYP or AP curriculum.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract of 2‑3 years.
• Monthly salary of 12,500‑21,000 AED, commensurate with experience.
