Primary Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our international school community in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment for all students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Create a positive classroom atmosphere that supports diverse learning needs.
• Use varied teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
• Assess, record and report student progress regularly.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate with parents or guardians.
• Maintain classroom routines that promote respect and responsibility.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and school leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, parent‑teacher conferences and school events.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Teaching certification or licensure valid for the relevant region.
• Experience teaching elementary‑aged children (1–3 years or more).
• Experience working with diverse learners, including those with special educational needs.
• Familiarity with curriculum standards and assessment practices.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate teaching methods.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with educational technology and digital teaching tools.
