About the role

Virtusa is seeking a Principal Business Analyst to lead complex business analysis initiatives in Dubai. The role combines deep technical knowledge with strategic product ownership to deliver high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the definition, documentation, and validation of business requirements for large‑scale projects.
• Act as Senior Product Owner in Agile environments, prioritising backlogs and guiding development teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of the Business Analyst practice across the organisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Ensure delivery of innovative system solutions that generate measurable business value.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in relevant specialisations.
• Proven track record of influencing business outcomes through analytical expertise.
• Experience leading BA communities or practice uplift initiatives.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Iterative (Agile/Scrum).
• High‑level proficiency in database structure design and object‑oriented programming (OOP).
• Hands‑on experience with reporting tools, BPM tools, testing tools, and requirement management tools.
